Haven Academy is a school that blends inclusivity and engagement into its design. I designed the space to have bright colors that were engaging but not too bold to where they would be distracting. I also wanted the space to have an open layout, simple walls and flooring, glass walls to allow light to permeate through the entire space, and have a blend of upholsteries with various patterns and textiles. Overall, I wanted my school to be a welcoming and creative space that children are excited to learn in.
